Hillary supporters Patty and Ray Koch positioned themselves across the street from the Obama rally, holding up a five-foot sign and chanting “Hillary, Hillary, Hillary”. When questioned about why they were supporting Clinton for president, they explained that they felt she was truly the best person for the job, that she already had experience in the White House, and that she would make a good team with her husband, Bill.

“It’s all right for Bush’s daddy (former president George H.W. Bush) to help him, why can’t Bill help Hillary?” asked Mrs. Koch. “It’s going to take a Clinton to clean up after a Bush again.”  The Koches, both of whom are learning-disabled, also feel that Hillary will do more to help the handicapped than any other candidate. They urge you to vote Hillary for president.

Come again?

I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” — Hillary Clinton, 17 March, 2008

After Clinton’s speech news footage of the visit emerged. There were no snipers at all on the tape; Hillary hugged children and joined in a concert with Sheryl Crow. She later apologized for her “minor blip”.
